Kamigawa: Titanbreach is Magic: The Gathering’s June premier set, releasing on 4 June 2027. Wizards of the Coast describes Kamigawa’s biggest metropolis being thrown into chaos when an Omenpath opens above Towashi and rampaging behemoths from the plane of Ikoria pour through.

What is being released

Two returning planes collide in this set. Kamigawa brings its neon-lit city of Towashi and next-generation mechs, while Ikoria brings its giant monsters. Wizards says players will wield Ikoria creatures in the battle for the city, and that mechs combining the world’s bravery, ingenuity and firepower can break the siege. Product details have not yet been listed on the official page.

Why this release is significant

Titanbreach brings back two fan-favourite settings at once. Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty and Ikoria were both popular for their identity and art, and combining kaiju-scale monsters with mechs gives the set an instantly clear theme.

Competitive gameplay impact

Wizards has not yet announced mechanics. As the June premier set, it will refresh Standard and Limited heading into the second half of 2027. We will update this page once previews begin.

Why players should care

Giant monsters versus giant robots in a neon city is about as easy a pitch as Magic gets. Whether you loved Neon Dynasty, Ikoria, or simply like big creatures, the June prerelease is one to mark on the calendar.
