Introduction
By participating in the competition, you are agreeing to these competition terms and conditions as well as the unique competition rules. The competition is being run by Solarpop Distribution (Pty) Ltd / Unplug Yourself.
Eligibility to Enter
The competition is open to citizens of South Africa over the age of 18 (eighteen) years in possession of a valid South African Identity Document. No employee, director, member or partner of Solarpop Distribution (Pty) Ltd / Unplug Yourself, nor any of their immediate family members will be eligible to enter the competition. Furthermore no employee, director, member or partner of any associated retailer registered with Solarpop Distribution (Pty) Ltd / Unplug Yourself will be eligible to enter into the competition.
The Competition is only valid within South Africa. Participants must be within South Africa at the time of entering the Competition, for the verification process and at the time of the prizes being awarded should they be declared a winner, failing which such person will be disqualified and forfeit their right to the prize, and Solarpop Distribution (Pty) Ltd / Unplug Yourself reserves the right to select and notify a new winner or to withdraw the prize and announce no replacement winners.
By entering the Competition, all participants and winners agree to be bound by these rules which will be interpreted by Solarpop Distribution (Pty) Ltd / Unplug Yourself, whose decision regarding any dispute will be final and binding and no correspondence shall be entered into regarding the decision. Solarpop Distribution (Pty) Ltd / Unplug Yourself reserves the right to amend, modify, change, postpone, suspend or cancel this competition and any prizes, or any aspect thereof, without notice at any time, for any reason that Solarpop Distribution (Pty) Ltd / Unplug Yourself reasonably deems necessary.
A limit on entries per person may be set by the competition rules.
The Prize
The use of specific brands as prizes by Solarpop Distribution (Pty) Ltd / Unplug Yourself does not imply any affiliation with or endorsement of such brands.
The prize is non-transferable and non-exchangeable, and no cash alternatives will be provided.
No visuals advertising the promotion is representative of the final prize. Prize value is estimated at the service or products recommended retail price at time of dispatch. We reserve the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value if circumstances beyond our control requires us to do so.
Solarpop Distribution (Pty) Ltd / Unplug Yourself’s decision on any aspect of the competition is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into.
Only persons currently residing in South Africa will be eligible to receive a prize. No Prize will be shipped outside of South Africa. Prizes will not be available for collection.
Should the prize include an offer to travel, inside of South African borders or abroad, all costs such as travel documents and any other associated costs will be for the winner’s account.
Should the prize include an offer to travel the winner is required to confirm their availability within 5 working days after the winner announcement has been made
Winner Announcement
The winners will be chosen at random or chosen in alignment to the specific competition rules.
The Winners will be notified via e-mail, direct message on social media or telephonically pending the entry mechanic and information disclosed upon entering the competition.
Winners will be contacted within 5 working days of the draw date. Solarpop Distribution (Pty) Ltd / Unplug Yourself will make two attempts to contact the winner.
If the winner does not respond to the notification informing them of their win within 10 working days of the second correspondence, they forfeit their right to the prize, and Solarpop Distribution (Pty) Ltd / Unplug Yourself reserves the right to select and notify a new winner or to withdraw the prize and announce no replacement winners.
Delivery of the Prize
The winner will allow for up to 25 working days for the prize to be delivered from date of confirmation that sufficient shipping and contact details have been received barring any circumstance which might hamper shipment, stock availability etc.
Data Protection and Publicity
You agree that any personal information that you provide when entering the competition will be used by Solarpop Distribution (Pty) Ltd / Unplug Yourself for the purposes of administering the competition and for shipping purposes.
Solarpop Distribution (Pty) Ltd / Unplug Yourself reserves the right to publish the winner’s first name and photo on Solarpop Distribution (Pty) Ltd / Unplug Yourself’s website and social media channels.
Solarpop Distribution (Pty) Ltd / Unplug Yourself reserves the right to add any competition participants to our mailer database. Participants can opt out of future correspondence via the link on the first promotional mailer received.
