Comic Con Africa 2020 Online ignites your Planeswalker spark.

Despite the disruption of all that we held as normal by COVID 19, Comic Con Africa is going ahead full steam. That means that we can all get our Geek On from the 24^th to the 27^th of September 2020. And best of all it’s all online this year so, no need to get out of your Hobbit onesie.

One of the highlights of this year’s con is certainly the Magic: the Gathering Arena Championships brought to you by Comic Con Africa, Easy Gaming Group and The Geek Home. As the folks you have brought you many online Magic: The Gathering tournaments over the last couple of years, Easy Gaming Group assures us this tournament is going to be even better previous competitions. The shift to making the entire championship digital to keep in line with lockdown rules, has been challenging but with MTG Arena being free to join and easily available, it is possible to still play even while keeping a healthy distance.

This year sees a return of the usual formats as in Standard, Brawl and Historic with the addition of a new tournament set up for new players. This promises to be a novel and exciting addition to the line up giving players with limited experience the opportunity to test their mettle against others of similar experience levels. There are some awesome prizes up for grabs and registration is currently open.
