Attention, Duelists! The 2025 South Africa OPEN is just around the corner, and it’s time to gear up for one of the most exciting regional events of the year! Whether you’re an experienced Duelist or just starting out, this tournament offers an incredible opportunity to showcase your skills, win exclusive prizes, and meet fellow enthusiasts.

Here’s everything you need to know about the event, including how to secure your spot and prepare for the tournament.

Event Highlights:

      • What to Expect: A high-stakes Advanced Constructed format tournament where Duelists from across the region come together to compete for glory!

      • Special Prizes: Exclusive event prizes will be up for grabs (more details to be announced soon).

      • Public Events: If you’re not entering the main tournament, you can still participate in public events and enjoy the atmosphere.

    Important Event Details:

        • Event Cap: 120 participants, so make sure to register early!

        • Registration:
          You will need the NEURON smartphone app to register for the event. This app will also handle Deck List submissions, which must be completed by 15 November 2024.
          If you don’t have the NEURON app yet, download it and connect it to your KCGN ID to complete your registration.
          On-site registration may not be possible, so make sure to register online to secure your spot.

          R450 – Includes 5 Booster Packs and entry to the convention.

        • Tournament Schedule:

        • Registration Closes: 15 November 2024

        • Tournament Start: 16 November 2024 (time TBC)

        • Format: Advanced Constructed

        • Top Cut: Check with the event organizer for details on the day of the event.

        • Public Events: Available throughout the day.

      Livestream:

      Can’t attend the event? Don’t worry, the South Africa OPEN will be livestreamed on Twitch (link coming soon). Watch the top Duelists battle it out from the comfort of your home.

      How to Prepare:

          • NEURON App: Ensure you have the NEURON app downloaded and set up with your KCGN ID.

          • Deck List: Deck lists must be submitted through the NEURON app by 15 November 2024.

          • Entry Package: Secure your tournament package, which includes 5 boosters and entry to the event. Note: Packages cannot be transferred or refunded.

        Spectators Welcome!
        Even if you’re not participating in the main event, you’re welcome to enter the venue and enjoy the event as a spectator or by joining the public events.
