Abyss of X [BT-28] is the next main Booster Pack for the Digimon Card Game, completing the X Antibody sequence that runs from Ignition of X through Malevolent VII. Bandai’s official English announcement gives release events from 5 March 2027 and a store release on 12 March 2027.
What is being released
Bandai confirmed BOOSTER PACK ABYSS OF X [BT-28] in its Next Plan announcement. The official English Digimon Card Game account states the theme is X Antibody, with support for both the Royal Knights and the Seven Great Demon Lords. Final pack configuration and the full card list have not yet been published.
Why this release is significant
BT-28 ties together two of the biggest groups in Digimon. Royal Knights fans and Seven Great Demon Lords fans both get support in the same set, which makes it one of the most broadly relevant boosters of the year. Bandai’s Producer Letter also positions it as the close of a run that brings popular Digimon through to March 2027.
Competitive gameplay impact
Main boosters reshape the meta more than extra boosters, and this one supports two established groups at once. Expect Royal Knights and Demon Lord decks to be tested heavily at release events. We will add card-level detail once Bandai publishes the official card list.
